Disconnect Instagram

If you connected Instagram to import your profile, open Profile settings and choose Disconnect Instagram. The link between your MODEL TV account and your Instagram account is removed, and the Instagram account identifier we stored is deleted.

The username and photo imported during the connection stay on your profile as normal profile details. Change or clear them in Profile settings at any time, exactly like details you typed yourself.

You can also remove MODEL TV from the apps connected to your Instagram account from Instagram itself, under Apps and websites. Doing that stops any future import; it does not remove details already saved to your MODEL TV profile.

Close your account

To delete your MODEL TV account and the content attached to it, email hello@modeltvlive.com from the email address on the account, with your username and a request to close the account. We reply to confirm the request before anything is removed, so that someone else cannot delete your account.

Closing the account removes your profile, posts, replies, messages, casting applications and connected account links. Content that other members have reposted or replied to may remain in their conversations without your profile attached.

Remove some content only

You do not need to close your account to delete individual items. Posts, replies, messages, stories and uploaded profile photos can be deleted from the site, and each removal takes effect immediately.

For anything you cannot remove yourself, email hello@modeltvlive.com with the link to the content and what you want deleted.

What we received from connected accounts

• Google: your name, email address and Google account identifier, used to sign you in. We never receive your Google password and do not store Google access tokens.
• Instagram: your username, display name and profile photo, used once to fill in your profile. We never receive your Instagram password, and the access token used for the import is discarded as soon as the import finishes.

Backups and logs

Deleted data is removed from the live site straight away. Copies may remain in database and file backups for a short period until those backups are rotated out, and limited server logs are kept for security. Neither is used to rebuild your profile.
