Creating your account

Join with your email address and a username. Verify the email we send you, then finish your profile in Settings so casting agencies and other members know who you are.

• Your profile can include photos, a bio, your city, your agency and the roles you work in.
• A verified email is required before you can post, message and apply to castings.
• You can change your password from the sign-in page with "Forgot password?" — we never ask for your password by email.

Posting on the feed

Use the composer on the Feed to publish a post. Posts can carry images, and other members can reply, like, repost and bookmark them.

• Your Following tab shows posts from creators you follow.
• Bookmarks and notifications are in the left menu on the Feed.
• Report a post from its card if it breaks the community guidelines.

Watching videos

Watch is a catalogue of runway shows, interviews, tutorials and fashion films. Every video plays through YouTube's official player, and MODEL TV stores the link and details rather than a copy of the video.

• Press play on a video card or the featured player to open the YouTube player.
• If a player cannot load, the video page offers a direct link to watch on YouTube.
• YouTube controls the video itself, so a removed or region-blocked video may stop playing without notice.

Messages

Chat lets you talk to other members. Conversations accept images, audio, video and other files as attachments.

• Block or report a member from their profile if a conversation becomes abusive.
• Do not share passwords or payment details in chat.

Casting

The Casting board lists calls from agencies. Every listing is reviewed before it appears. You can apply from a call's page using your MODEL TV profile and portfolio.

• Keep your portfolio current — agencies see it with your application.
• Apply only to calls that match your city, role and availability.
• Report a listing that asks for payment or looks dishonest.
