One word can open up a whole collection. For INSYD/OWT CREATIVES, this time it’s Playground. Sisters Bohloeki and Boikokobetso Sibolla share how they develop ideas, work with collaborators and make room for experimentation. An idea might find its place in a different piece or a later collection, but they trust it will find a home. In this conversation, the duo reflect on building their brand from their mother’s garage in 2017 and what it means to contribute to the fashion industry around them. They also consider what happens after a piece leaves their hands, when someone wears it in a way they hadn’t imagined.
